Hole 6 is a par 4 usually into a strong south wind. It has a down-hill tee shot, but then followed by a long up-hill second shot. Precision off the tee box is a must; there is a pond (usually dry) on the left and large mounds on the right. It is a slight dog-leg right. A new sand trap guards the front right of the green. Don’t go long or you will be in the bottom of the Soule Canal with a very difficult chip back up to the green that slopes away from you. Hole 6 plays 449 from the Blue Tees, 421 yards from the White Tees, 393 yards from the Gold Tees, and 388 from the Red Tees. Hole 6 is the #1 handicap hole.
